Well, this past weekend has been eventful to say the least...
friday was a good night hanging out with Alex, doing girl things. always a lot of laughs and fun.
saturday while all most of my darling friends were at Prom, Chris and I went to The Shed and hung out =) ...much fun. later returned to OS and went to Conley's for post-prom festivities. i seemed to accomplish a lot that night, good things mostly...that then led to not so good things, but hopefully I've gotten all that straightened out now. (i know i've been kinda vague with some of my posts lately, but this is basically a way to release everything i guess...)
Convention was pretty good. i was really glad to get out of town yesterday morning. i'm also glad to be back now. I haven't had much sleep this weekend, and I'm ready to crash.
Things are looking up. yay.

Today was a good day. i was in a great mood because i kinda took care of something that was long overdue, and it felt good. now hopefully my life can move in the right direction. i felt like i was stuck for awhile, not really knowing how to get out of that spot but i think i'm there. good things are on the horizon and i plan to take advantage of them.
Whew.
i also have to write this lame 750 words--Evolution vs. Creationism. and i basically have no idea what to ramble on for that long about because it's not a topic that i'm particularly passionate about. i'm screwed.

I've decided that yoga is one of the greatest things in the history of the world. i've been doing it for about a month and a half now, and i can't even describe how great it is. it's the most relaxing form of exercise ever, plus, i can actually feel the good things that it's doing for my body.
Leaving for Colorado in 12 days. i'm beyond excited.

Some...*things*...that were really getting me down aren't bothering me as much anymore. i decided i shouldn't dwell on the problem and go on living my life because it really isn't MY problem at all. i guess i'm just starting to realize that the things that i can't control can't keep me down all the time and i need to just let things go and everything will turn out the way it's supposed to eventually.
whew. got that out.
so i had a good weekend, much different from the last one. friday i went to the movies and hung out with jt, christine, and taylor, and it was just a lot of fun which i needed. we also had our dance team banquet saturday which was much better than i anticipated. it was a good way to end the year but made then came the realization that tryouts are fast approaching...i'm quite nervous.
and Alexandra Christine Stiles, my absolute best friend, is coming down to visit on Friday!! i'm so excited. she will make me forget all the stupid problems in my life and just enjoy myself. yay.

Things get so hard so fast. everything in my life is just stressing me out. all the little things put together is just making it all one big mess. things go from one extreme to another and it all seems to be based around one thing in particular and that's hard. things go from a perfect state of bliss to all this confusion and uncertainty and i just can't deal with it anymore. it could be the thing that makes all the rest easier but at this point it's just not.

I'M GOING TO COLORADO OVER SPRING BREAK!
i'm so excited. we booked everything the other night. it's gonna be great. i've never been further west than Louisiana before so i'm really looking forward to it. we're staying 4 nights in Breckenridge and then 3 nights in Boulder. we're of course going skiing and i'm probably...rephrase that...definitely not gonna know what i'm doing. but i'm sure it'll be fun.
ALSO...
i get to go see The All-American Rejects while i'm there! they just happen to be playing in Denver the week of Spring Break on April 12. i'm so excited that it basically can't be expressed in words. Fall Out Boy and Hawthorne Heights are gonna be there too so i reckon it'll be pretty hardcore. this will be what...like...my third time to see them? haha. so anyway, it's gonna be great. i'm amped.

Well, today is the last day of the Christmas holiday. i'm kind of glad to be going back though. it's gotten kind of boring lying in bed watching DVDs and listening to music all day. (although those are both excellent pastimes)
Quite the fuss has been made over my most recent icon. i pretty much loved that performance. it was very hot. tyson ritter is very hot in general. i wish i had it on tape but i didnt feel like going to turn on the VCR at 3:30 am. hopefully i can find it online somewhere.
